Does it hurt?
Most acupuncture needles are barely felt. Many patients find the treatment deeply relaxing and even fall asleep.
What should I wear?
The Solare Reset differs from a traditional massage or private acupuncture/cupping treatment since draping is not part of the treatment. Patients should arrive wearing clothing that keeps private areas appropriately covered while allowing the treatment area to be easily accessed. We have two bathrooms available for you to change at our clinic.
Women: Athletic shorts, sports bra, bralette, or tank top
Men: Athletic shorts, tank top or shirt that can be easily removed
Is this a full acupuncture appointment?
Yes, this is a full acupuncture treatment adapted for busy schedules. The Solare Reset addresses one primary concern through 20-minute acupuncture and red light using 1–10 acupuncture points on one side of the body.
If you're looking for a comprehensive Chinese medicine evaluation, in-depth pulse and tongue diagnosis, multiple health concerns addressed in one visit, or a detailed treatment plan, we recommend scheduling a Private Comprehensive Acupuncture Appointment instead.
Is red light therapy safe?

Can I walk in?
Visits are by appointment only. If you're interested in same-day booking, you can text our clinic at (619) 459-7486 to ask about availability. All other appointments are booked through Janeapp.
How often should I come?
Consistency is one of the biggest factors in achieving the best results. For the Solare Reset, we typically recommend starting with two treatments per week. Some people come more frequently during periods of pain, injury recovery, or increased stress, while others transition to weekly maintenance visits once they're feeling better.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?
