Healing isn’t just about needles and herbs—it’s about being seen, heard, and supported from start to finish. That’s the foundation of my work at Solare.

I’m Dr. Nadia Schulkind, a licensed acupuncturist and Doctor of Chinese Medicine based in San Diego, and the heart behind Solare Acupuncture and Botanica by Solarè. I’ve walked through many lifetimes in this one life—adopted as a baby, raised alongside my brother with Down syndrome, living in rural corners of the world, navigating trauma, and rising through abusive relationships. These experiences made one thing crystal clear: everyone needs a safe space to land.

At Solare, I create that space—emotionally and physically. You’ll never be rushed or left alone on the table. Whether I’m working quietly at my desk or listening as you talk through what’s on your heart, I stay with you from beginning to end. This isn’t a clinic where you’re just a chart—this is a space where you get to be fully human.

I combine traditional acupuncture, fire cupping, red light therapy, and Chinese herbal medicine to treat everything from chronic pain and hormonal imbalances to anxiety, burnout, and spiritual fatigue. My practice blends the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with grounded presence, clinical integrity, and intuitive care.

Out of my clinical work grew Botanica by Solarè, a small-batch tincture line born from my passion for accessible, powerful herbal medicine. These formulas were created for real people navigating real life—panic attacks, grief, brain fog, gut issues, and more. Each tincture is rooted in thousands of years of herbal knowledge, but crafted for the modern world.

My mission is simple: to help you come home to yourself.
